Level up against rabies: game this month to eliminate rabies and save lives

Fundraise the fun way and join our mission to end rabies. In the month of May organise a gaming fundraiser to help us protect both human and animal lives from this deadly disease.

If we act now, our generation could be the one to eliminate rabies for good.

Fundraise in any way you would like, this could be completing a sponsored gaming marathon or receiving donations through a livestream.

Someone dies of rabies every 9 minutes, with 99% of human rabies cases caused by a dog bite. While millions of healthy dogs are inhumanely killed for fear of rabies. We are working to change this through canine vaccinations, education, and surveillance but we need your help.

The challenge is to use the figure 9 in your gaming livestream or event, helping to highlight the devastating impact this disease has. It is completely up to you and what you think people would like to see. You could game straight for 99 minutes, set yourself a gaming challenge to complete in 9 minutes, or play a game as 9 different characters.

Get involved in our gaming fundraising challenge by setting up an online page through Tiltify or JustGiving and donations will come directly to us. A live-streaming fundraiser can be done through Twitch, which can be connected to your Tiltify or JustGiving page.

Speedrunning marathons

Thunderthon raised over £6,000 for our charity, WVS, through livestream gaming fundraisers! The group organised speedrunning marathons by bringing together speedrunners to raise money to improve animal welfare worldwide.
